Just something that suggested itself to me while browsing through an IKEA catalog, looking for solutions to decorating problems.  Nothing fancy, nothing too technically spicy and certainly nothing to get very excited about, but a very pleasing and soothing color scheme nonetheless.  Even though it isn't Apple Platinum grey, you can use it without going blind...

Feel free to use it as you wish, as is, customized or as a starting point for your own color scheme design.  It has always been my intention, as the Kaleidoscope Evangelist, to encourage people to create and contribute and if this scheme helps continue the Kaleidoscope boom then I'll consider myself fully repaid for the many hours I spent on this.

  11. To clarify: this scheme and its associated resources and graphics are freeware.  Do with them what you will as long as you don't claim them as your own.  If you do, you know what terrible things will happen when the faeries get wind of your transgressions.

The coolest thing that has happened to me as part of the Kaleidoscope team, apart from meeting some really nice people,  is receiving postcards (and wedding invitations!) from various people around the world (Albie Wong, Taetia Zysshe, Maury McCown, Richard Miske, John Brochu and Marcy Kulic).  It would mean a lot to me if you cared enough about my contributions to the Kaleidoscope community to send me a real, live, snail-mail postcard.  No obligation, but it would be really nice. =)
